Plymouth manager looking likely to leave for Stoke job 16:14 - Dec 18 with 6042 views | Illinoisblue | Interesting one. Wonder if he feels he’s taken Plymouth as far as he can. If he does go: unsettled dressing room + our need for a striker = SIGN WHITTAKER

Plymouth manager looking likely to leave for Stoke job on 19:04 - Dec 19 with 706 views | BigCommon | Schuey confirmed at Stoke now... Amazing how many Plymouth fans are being toxic towards him now. Making him out as some kind of mercenary. When butter wouldn't melt in his mouth a week ago? Good coach, imo. Clearly got some good players to work with at Stoke. And a much higher budget (perhaps?).

To be fair, if McKenna left us for the likes of Leeds, Leicester and Southampton we'd feel pretty bitter, even if we could understand he'd have a bigger budget and, on paper, better players at his disposal. Moving up a division is one thing, but does stick slightly when it's the same one.

Yeah , and there's probably some quite emotional reactions, too. But Stoke are a massively bigger club than Plymouth Argyle... Plymouth's aspirations are to stay up. Stoke have spent big to go up in the next couple of seasons. Think he did a good job at Plymouth, with one hand tied behind his back, in terms of resources and low expectations.. Must be hard to motivate ones self when you keep banging your head on that glass ceiling.... Tbf, I'd wave KM on and wish him well, wherever he went.. He's given us a lot to be happy about.

Probably doesn't help that he only a week or so ago said he wasn't going anywhere.
