Hirst injury layoff 12:28 - Jan 19 with 2760 viewsBobbychase

Just speculating, why do we think Hirst will be out for most of the rest of the season? I tore my hamstring around about 2015 and it healed over about seven weeks. He injured himself on Boxing Day, but the chat is that he might be back in April. Why so long?

Poll: Are you renewing your season ticket?

Probably should have phrased it better.

Guess I was hoping the miracle workers in our physio dept who have got other players back sooner than expected could do the same with Hirst, Doesn't sound like it from what others have said.

Yeah, it is a shame.

As others have said hamstrings can take just a week or so or many months to get right, depending on their severity. And you have to get them right or they go again.

First things first we have to make sure he makes a full recovery
