We mostly train in ‘the system’ rather than individual players, McKenna has said this, so Moore starting wouldn’t really have made a difference to the other 10 players, and Moore is experienced and good enough to slot straight in as he is used to that sort of role I’m sure, as the second half showed. There's a big difference coming on for a free hit against a side defending a 3-0 lead and starting the game. His role yesterday was to get in the box and get on the end of everything and he did that to good effect but that's not what his role would have been from the start.
