I was thinking about this on a human level after what I thought was a very nervous performance against Watford.

The exact figure doesn't matter, but our players are on what roughly, £10k per week.

If we're promoted to the PL, those that are still under contract next season will probably get an automatic increase to what roughly, £50k per week.

And all players whether in or out of contract next season will probably get a huge promotion bonus.

These are potentially life changing numbers, so it's not surprising that as well as looking slightly knackered, our players are probably starting to feel the pressure.

Whilst they’ll likely have increases on promotion there is no way the current players average wage would increase to £50k PW overnight.

Yeah, no, that’s not remotely close to being realistic numbers.
