These Players 00:03 - May 1 with 426 viewsCheltenham_Blue

Imagine for a second, being one of these players.

The ones picked up from L1 and L2, Hladky, Burgess, Donacien, Burns, Taylor, Harness, Al Hamadi, Jackson.

The ones that dropped from higher Leagues to L1, Walton, Clarke, Davis, Edmundson, Morsy, Luongo, Chaplin, Hirst, Aluko, Broadhead

The ones that live this club, Humphreys, Woolfenden, Clarke.

All on the cusp of becoming Premier League players, from where we were just over three years ago, headed for L2.

Just let that sink in.. What a club, What a team, What an ownership group, What supporters. See you Saturday.

I think McKenna being in youth coaching for so long really plays a huge part in us picking out players who have potential to grow in to. There isn't a single player in the squad who has failed to improve in some way shape of form since they signed.

You can have all the potential in the world, but it is much harder to realise that potential unless you're playing competitive games somewhat regularly.

So, im not shocked we've turned other team's fringe players into some of the best in the league.

This does make "talent farms" like Chelsea seem all the more worrying. A lot of those lads in an elite academy who will never play for the main team that could be playing at other teams and improving.

Premier Poster. Too good to be elite.
