We have lost the least amount of games in the division, scored the most goals in the division and YET some teams below still call us lucky..
On another note.. All the media talk of championship being unpredictable and topsey turvey... The pessimist in me is still dreading a sting in the tail on Saturday knowing another booking for Morsy means he'd miss all the playoffs... ðŸ˜
I think it's because no-one expected us to do so well this season, that some think it must have been a fluke. While Leeds demolished us twice, leagues are all about consistency & beating the below average teams. We have also won a remarkable number of points from losing positions, but that's more down to mental strength & effective use of a strong bench (though nowhere near the firepower of Leeds). This has also involved a few late goals, but I remember Liverpool winning the league in the 1970s after a huge number of late goals & more recently, Man U specialised in this under Ferguson. It's more about mental strength & continuing to go for the win.
