I had my first Kieran McKenna anxiety dream last night. The setting was a sort of post-apocalyptic Old Trafford. We were watching Man U play an Argentine team in a pre-season friendly. There were hoardes of Argentine ultras burning down parts of the stadium and murdering people. McKenna was sat next to me and seemed entirely nonplussed by the vista of violence. He was also extremely small, almost the size of a toddler. I mainly talked to him about whether he had taken any time off since the end of the season and the need for him to recharge his batteries.
I never have football related dreams and am 47 years old. I’m not sure this is normal.

I dreamt that we appointed a 30 something year old manager with little previous experience and after two full seasons he had led us from league 1 through 2 promotions into the premier league playing an exciting open style of football with an incredible team spirit
