Why do we presume to know the mind of the man? 10:58 - May 25 with 589 viewsEC2_Blue

The talk of KMc's future is fascinating, if slightly hysterical.

We don't know the man's life plans or career ambitions. All we are doing is assuming that somehow being well rewarded, enormously liked and a desired component of the overall investment strategy of the owners, is insufficient for him.

How very modern an assumption.

Some people are very content with their roles, loyal to their organisations, happy with their family being settled in a particular location. Admittedly the market is much more fluid than at any previous time but maybe, just maybe he is quite happy with his current role and risk profile thank you very much.

As for the owners being here, it's a major investment and they are overseeing it in person at a point in the year where on-field distractions and preparation for games are temporarily not competing with the need for consideration of strategy, finance and the other demands of running a business.

Que sera sera, but not worth tying ourselves up in knots about.

We can't help worrying what effect this is all having to our club though. I have no issue if he wants to progress his career (or not), just get on with it so we can start planning. Whatever anyone says, it s a huge issue if he goes, what with getting a new man in and everything that involves. We don't have time for all this.

If he wants to go he is at the whim of the other clubs. He can’t set the timetable for them.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

My view once the top man has had the conversation with McKenna if McKenna is not on board with the owners vision its goodbye and good luck. We start again the most important thing that happened to this football club was the takeover and Evans leaving.
