It'll happen without a doubt, just a case of when - and no doubt that will probably be sooner rather than later.

Whether it takes 5 years or 55 years, money talks and having a few games overseas would generate additional interest in the game.

I think the Spanish league is a lot closer to doing something but the EPL is ultimately in competition with foreign leagues for world revenues from overseas fans.

For the avoidance of doubt, as a fan I think the idea is sh1t - but then so is football on a Monday night or Sunday afternoon. The time to stand up against TV ratings being more important than the fans was about 25 years ago.
