Fair do's to Shearer as well, early in the second half he imparted some advice that Bobby Robson had given and pointed out that what Kane was doing wrong and was preventing him getting more involved was moving towards the ball too much (presumably at the same time as Danish defenders.) Kane was substituted not long after that so accusations that Southgate does not listen to others are wide of the mark because it sounds like he had the BBC commentary on too...
