Apologies admin if I shouldn't post a fundraiser on here but wondered if any fellow blues could help us make a local film.

Film Suffolk support film and television productions, to commercials, photoshoots and student films across East Anglia.

Every few years they produce a community film themselves to showcase local talent. You may have seen 'With Love From Suffolk' or 'The Haunted Hotel'

The third anthology film is called 'Once Upon a Time in Suffolk' and is 9 different tales based on myths and fairy tales. Some old, some new but all set in our beautiful county.

Everyone on the the project is voluntary but there are some costs (transport, materials, etc) so we are trying to raise some funds.

We've got the scripts ready, the cast and crew are being assembled and we shoot this summer. The finished film should be out 2025. The plan is for it to be released in local cinemas before being streamed. You could join us on the red carpet.

We've recently had a couple of good luck messages from Hollywood director Paul Greengrass and author Anthony Horowitz which you can see on the film's facebook page along with other news.

I would recommend such a modest investment if you had any kind of business connection to the source material.

I put a relatively small amount into the funding for a documentary focusing on the library music industry a few years ago and it resulted in a noticeable increase in orders for my record label.

I am the writer of one of the scripts featured in the film.

The producers are looking for businesses that want to get involved also and can discuss options.
