A permanent move away from Chelsea is a serious option for the winger.
There is an expectancy that a bid from Ipswich is imminent.
VfB Stuttgart and Ajax remain interested in Hutchinson, although it seems to have cooled somewhat in recent weeks. At the moment, Ipswich look to be the front-runners.
The Blues are expected to ask for around £30million for the former Arsenal academy star. There have been some suggestions that Ipswich will offer around £20million initially, so there may need to be a common ground found between the two Premier League clubs.

Chelsea may be prepared to accept a lower offer to get the deal into the 23/24 financial year but we need to think of our FFP position too. In effect we’d be signing him in a championship season (max loss £13m) rather than a prem season (max loss £35m). You look at a rolling three seasons so the question is how much headroom do we have for the three seasons 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24 rolled up?
Good thing is we’re unlikely to incur any more unplanned expenditure before 30 June so we can take it to the wire, plus there’ll be minimal wages for OH this year.

but does the whole value of the deal count as a one off cost ? or are they playing games with it like the initial up front payment is only say 13m in this financial year, but we pay them another 17million when hes played 20 games in next financial year ? |  | | |
