I thought we may be passed this after our previous acquisitions. Seems people judge players ability's on goals scored. If KMc see's a something in a player, there's something there.

Stats definitely have a place in the evaluation of players. KM doesn't get every transfer correct, so people are permitted to use stats to make a case for why someone may not be the best fit for us.

For what it's worth, I don't know the specific case you are referring to as you haven't provided that information. So I may agree in the case study you haven't referenced.
