I think Bellingham's sensational start to his club career, particularly such an amazing debut season at Real, has raised expectation levels to such a high level that anything less than a world-beating performance every match is going to be viewed as a disappointment. The fact is, the guy is 21 and still has a long way to go til he reaches his peak. He seemed to blow very hot and cold in this tournament, but you'd hope that as he gains experience he will become unstoppable. Some of the things he did took the breath away but at other times if I had any hair I'd be tearing it out.

Saka has been a main threat, but the number of times he held up and waited for support rather than driving at the full back drove me nuts.

Take on one man, or wait to be doubled upon and then go backwards?

These inverted wingers do my head in. Just beat your man down the line now and again to keep him honest. It’s all too predictable. I appreciate I’m showing my age, by John Robertson at Forest had no pace, but he could cross a ball equally well with both feet. I watched Williams last night for Spain, who I thought was good, but clearly he’s got no left foot.

Poll: Where are we going to finish?
