Let's call this what it is... 12:49 - Jul 16 with 6048 viewssjg

A money grab. Trying to sell as many memberships as possible to the detriment of atmosphere and in the face of loyal supporters.

How can someone that went to one home game last season get the same priority as someone who went to all 23? The away points system is less unfair but I would still be absolutely fuming if I went to 9 away games last year and effectively ended up with the same chance in the ballot as someone who has never been to one before.

That's the price we pay for Premier League football I suppose (pun intended)

Does anybody who goes to 23 home games a season not have a season ticket (and therefore a guaranteed seat for all Prem matches at PR)?

I'm sure there are some, I remember before I got my first season ticket, the upfront cost (now solved by the direct debit payment plan) and kind of the commitment come rain, shine, win, lose or draw or league position. It was a big step to make. It felt like a season ticket was more than just about a ticket to every home game.

Thesedays I'm not sure if it feels like it to some people still, I think it does in some cases as I know people who chose not to get one last season before the cap, but most people i know are season ticket holders and people who do the odd game when they can.
