Will Membership numbers be capped? 13:05 - Jul 16 with 1188 viewsUnitunit

Why is there a priority for last year's members to buy today and then open to everyone else tomorrow? Does this suggest they will be capped?

my point precisely in the below thread

Forgive my ignorance 13:04 - Jul 16 with 42 views Mickslimp

and i may have missed the obvious in all the blurb -- but there appears to be no mention of any maximum number of memberships that will be sold. If thats the case, whats the point in having this initial window for last seasons members to renew before any new members can join? (or is it just to stop the website crashing!!)

Nah won’t be capped. The club aren’t going to turn people away

Assume it’s just so the website doesn’t get bombarded and crashes at a guess

There is some slight priority for those who held memberships last year, but they could have made the threshold (1 game) a little higher.

At the end of the day, the club will never please everyone. It’s going to be a real scrap for tickets until the Cobbold is redone, we’ve rewoken a very large dormant fan base.

And let's see how that dormant fan base reacts when we're not winning games all the time.

Fwiw last time in the Premiership there were alot of fans of other clubs who joined up just to get tickets to watch Premiership league football and "their" team.
