Phillips already through the door and fingers crossed Cajuste will join early next week... can't help but feel we've made the right decision, rather than pursue Skipp.

Agreed.

Plucking a figure out of the air, but to be illustrative, if we are paying £100k pw wages for Phillips that equates to £4.6m until the end of next June. Much cheaper than £20m plus wages.

We've got both Phillips and Cajuste in for around half of the cost of buying Skipp.

Leaves more in the kitty for defenders, left 10 and another centre forward to help Delap.
