Who's going to drop out?! 10:19 - Aug 21 with 813 views

I see a lot of posts/replies about who will drop out the team when Cajuste, Phillips, Szmodics and now Broja sign.

The fact is the answer really is nobody.

It's a squad game and KMc likes to use his 5 subs. Ladapo and Humphreys will move on, so if there are no further signings we have a 27 man squad (incl. 2 U21s).

Of these 27 players, 20 will be in the match day squad. I think it's reasonable to expect 5-7 players to be unfit or suspended at any one time.

If Muric and Burns don't recover, then 6 players incl. Phillips will be missing for Man City. And this assumes no further knocks were picked up against Liverpool.
