With all the international call ups and injuries 14:16 - Aug 30 with 608 viewscbower

Not much time together on the grass for McKenna to use during the internstional break. By my reckoning we will be without Muric, Slicker, O'Shea, Burgess, Hutchinson, Ogbene, Delap, Szmodics, Tuanzebe, Cajuste for internationals. Add in Harry Clarke, Broadhead, Burns and Hirst with injuries and that makes 14 in total. If Broja deal goes through, that'd be 15 out of 25 man squad not training at Town after Saturday's game. Not sure about Al-Hamadi. Potentially there could also have been Morsy, Luongo, Phillips and Taylor I suppose. Sign of the Times at Portman Road.

And there was me naively thinking that the window would be a great gelling time for the squad!

Maybe we should go back to the simple Lg 1, no international player days !

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

or go back to how it used to be.
Players met up after the Saturday league matches and played the internationals on a Wednesday then they came back to the clubs ready for the next league game on Saturday.

We never had all this rubbish of 'the international break' and league football want called off.
