Anyone else fed up with the relentless march of price increases whilst at the same time having the Government constantly whinging about the mess the Tories have left them and the Country in. Leading to more tax increases and cuts. If they were that concerned why didn't they concede the election and let the Tories carry on. Of course they wouldn't because they are all suited and booted now with a nice little earner for the next five years. Don't get carried away with their promises or lack of as it turns out. Just another 5 years doom and gloom on top of the Tories 14 years of the same.

You don't remember the 1973 Price Commission then? Set up by whoever won the 1970 election. That'll be the tories then.

My dad worked for the Price Commission. His voice was on the answerphone for members of the public ringing up to complain about prices.
