Wowcher holidays 20:12 - Sep 2 with 998 viewsZx1988

Has anyone got any experience of buying/redeeming holiday vouchers from Wowcher?

We're looking at going to Budapest and there are some good deals on there (flights and four nights for £179pp), but the information at the point of purchase is limited at best (travel date, and the fact that it's flying from 'London Airports').

Are we likely to be disappointed when it comes to trying to redeem the voucher in terms of what's actually available at the £179pp price point? Or should it still be fairly decent?

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Was it Wowcher who were the subject of last week's Watchdog slot on the One Show? If not, it was someone similar.

EDIT - It was someone else - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4lZWqvWs3dqx7R9Zbp39q5P/buyagift-redle

Basically you're right to be concerned about trying to redeem the voucher and get something worth having for its face value.

The thing is, depending on when you go, that's not even a that great deal.

An example arranging by self -

11th November - 15th November - £32 flights with Wizz Air

MEININGER Budapest Great Market Hall rated excellent - 8.6/10 - £157 4 nights. Central location.

works out at £111 per person
