Didn’t help themselves at times, but the ref made two or three appalling decisions against us… and then didn’t give them against Leicester… if you’re going to be incompetent, at least be incompetent fairly.
Season ended when Doyle and then Emil got injured… would have walked it with them in the team, and stood a pretty good chance with one of them.
Speedway is one of those ridiculous sports where they’ve sold out to the tv money, and the league winners don’t win the league, the winners of the play-offs do. See also rugby league and netball to name two others. |  |
