I'm interested in the Spotify commercials from a musician's perspective, just out of curiosity. Do they have to approve your songs before they're live on the site? And do you earn a commission per play?

I went through ReverbNation to distribute to all platforms, I had to join Spotify and take control of the artist account. It's all very new to me :)

She's adds hers via Distrokid I think via an annual subscription. There's no quality assurance and the royalties are laughably small, but it does at leave give a platform for sharing.
