Next 6 games 01:32 - Oct 15 with 1604 views | PioneerBlue | Takes us to end of Nov. Last group of games predicted was first 7. We are slightly behind where I hoped, hoped 6-7, actual 4. PL is certainly proving a bit harder to accumulate points than hoped! I knew it would take some games to get into the league and that time is now! In the 8 - 10 game range. I’m expecting our performances and results to improve as the season goes on due to the significant squad build in the summer, albeit 17th, stretch 16th currently seems like success! If we can tick along and improve 2H of season P15, P14 becomes achievable but it feels a long way away at this time. Predicting for the next 7 takes us to 14 games, over a third of the way through and a really good period to properly understand how we’ve built and adapted. I’m going positive for this group of games! 8 points. W 19 Oct Everton H D 26 Oct Brentford A W 2 Nov Leicester City H L 10 Nov Tottenham Hotspur A L 24 Nov Manchester United H D 30 Nov Nottingham Forest A [Post edited 17 Oct 2024 3:11]

Next 6 games on 14:18 - Oct 15 with 1203 views | LittleBoyBlue1 | We've learnt some tough lessons which I think can help us approach different opponents better. We have to win at home and are capable of doing so, Everton W Brentford we have to play for a draw like we did Brighton away. Hopefully they don't catch us off guard in the first couple minutes which we saw Vs West Ham and which Brentford are good at. Brentford D Leicester I'm really worried about. The added pressure of "we should beat these lot" that I think hindered us Vs Southampton. Granted we'll be home on this occasion which could save us. I think Leicester have improved more than us. I'm worried we'll 'come out and play' and get caught out, like Vs West Ham after a good display Vs Villa. Hopefully we've learnt our lesson. I think the reverse fixture will be humongous for both clubs, but for this one I'm hoping for a draw. Leicester D Spurs. We'll lose. They're too quick. Spurs L If we much in for a draw against United plus we're at home I can see us hanging on for dear life and getting a point. If we try to attack them just because we're at home I think we'll come unstuck. All depends on how we set up, but for me I'm predicting a draw. United D Forest is an unknown for me and depends on how both teams are doing by the time we get there. I am an eternal pessimist. But even I think being optimistic here. On balance of things those Ds are more likely to become Ls than Ws in my opinion. People continuously saying "we need to gel and grow into the season"... failing to realise every other club will be doing that too
I’d take 7 points right now Pioneer on 14:38 - Oct 15 with 1168 views | unstableblue | Which would mean we’ve probably won two and taken points off survival rivals That would take us to 11 points from 14 games, which is below the 1 PPG needed, but we’ll have played some tough teams. Would just love to get something from Spurs away or Man U home… would love it But let’s take each game as it comes and see where we get to Having said that we have to get a minimum for 4 points from the next 3, or we’ll be getting into trouble. Two huge home 3pm Saturday kick-offs incoming and the PR crowd has to be rabid and intimidating.

I know there's mixed opinions on labelling those games as must wins, but it's hard for me to see how they can be anything other than must wins. If you don't pick up 2 wins at home against relegation rivals, where do you pick up your 8 or 9 wins you need to give you a chance of staying up? The Man Utd game is the type of game where something could happen that's unexpected - they're not great tactically under ETH but they're still Man Utd and much better than us on paper. The 3 away games are all tough. I don't see us getting anything out of them. Brentford will be more physical than us, Spurs will be a lot more sharper and play with high tempo and Forest are a good team under Nuno.

Next 6 games on 08:07 - Nov 25 with 587 views | PioneerBlue | And so it seems we are making the adjustment now at the 12 game mark. 1 game to go in the game range takes us to 13 games and end of Nov. We need 3 points on Saturday to bring the points tally in line with the prediction, anything else and my two first predictions 0-7 and 8-13 games will have been about 6-7 points behind my early optimistic outlook! A win brings us into line with 1ppg over the season so far and would be a decent start.
