Blatant pluggery 17:09 - Dec 1 with 582 views | FBI | Yeah, sorrynotsorry. Anyway, my band's new single is out today on all your favourite platforms and probably the ones you don't like, too. Got two minutes (literally) of time free to spend listening to a bit of punky rock'n'roll from a band with a devilishly handsome and youthful singer/bassist? I suppose you could play this instead :-) https://open.spotify.com/album/7GGNIvgfAxfJPO3sUIBQwX?si=1igaGxkkROqaYotGlh8nWg

I'll listen to the album on my commute next week. 👍🏻 Here's a link to my band page on Spotify, too. https://open.spotify.com/artist/1GUzodUToGTdZnXhtyEH09?si=gIlk5Rn1S1SAn6F0RWv4pg Such a shame that there's so little royalties to be earned on streaming sites. 0.003 pence per stream these days. Pittance! Anyway, best of luck with your music!

Thanks. Malcolm Young sold me on the Gretsch brand. So much more interesting than a Fender or a Gibson! That Bigsby is a bit of a nightmare when I restring, though!

Innit? I was sold after listening to Eddie Cochran and Billy Duffy! The trick with a Bigsby is to use stupidly heavy strings - 13s with a wound 3rd, but they do take a bit of getting used to.

Yeah, I keep hearing that heavier gauge is better, but I have a dodgy left wrist from a sports accident, so I can't play for long pain-free. Lighter strings are more comfortable, but I do think you compromise a little tone as a result.
