I could well be making this up - but I think someone on here posted that Ipswich nearly switched to Admiral but instead went with adidas. Think they wanted us to have the infamous brown kit which Coventry wore but at the last minute, SBR changed his mind
Possibly this admiral one was another template sent to Ipswich at the time.

That's a Spurs away shirt from that time. Given the North London rivalry my guess would be that someone mocked it up to have a laugh at Arsenal's expense after we beat them. Certainly not an official Ipswich shirt. |  |
