I don’t.
For all the good he does with claiming crosses etc. it’s moments like this which make his signing absolutely ridiculous.
I’ve never known a keeper so calamitous, he’s cost us 3 points today alone and who knows how big this defeat will be going forward.
For £8m(!!) I refuse to accept that he was the best keeper we could have signed, especially when him making mistakes is hardly a new thing. |
My first choice was Kelleher, but probably cost way more than £8 million
WHY didn't we go for Plymouth's Michael Cooper whom we knew how good he was. Now injury free he is top for all GK stats this season at Sheff Utd. WBA's Palmer is a decent shout as well.
I am sure there are many other better GKs overseas too. £8 million, Burnley must be laughing all the way to the bank. |  |
