Feel for Muric. 15:58 - Dec 8 with 3044 viewsTheBoyBlue

He'd got his confidence up, made some real match-saving saves and then that.

He’s a clown. Liability one moment, match winner the next. Shown little consistency sismce his been here. Plus he can’t play with his feet and gives me kittens.

Why feel for Muric? That was a terrible mistake that could be avoided if he uses his brain. How many more times is he going to do that?

I can't feel for him. He wasn't unlucky. It wasn't a dodgy bounce or a fluke. It was just plain stupid.

And it's not a one-off! No-point making match-saving saves if you then throw it anyway!

I don’t particularly, he’s in control of what he does and he’s cost us more than he’s saved us this year. Time for him to be benched IMO. I don’t want inconsistency from my goalkeeper, or a 10 out of 10 or 2 depending on how he’s feeling.

Because he's our keeper and if he's confident and playing well than that's good for us.

Match winner? When
The only game we’ve won was spurs
He,s a liability and wants to be involved way too much
Man Utd at fault for that goal
Forrest at fault for that goal
I’d suggest the only game he has kept us in was Brighton

I feel for Burgess, left defending an almost impossible situation. All despite being the best defender on the pitch and singlehandedly keeping us in that game.

He's singlehandedly taking us back to the Championship. He is utterly hopeless

He isn't doing it deliberately!

I feel for him ... but he should be (and expect he will be) dropped.

Bournemouth created 6 "big chances" to our 1. That's why we're going down, not because of Muric

Although, if Muric does his job we at least get a point out of it don't we?

Ridiculous. You think if he stays on his line, they score from that move? Crikey, you have low expectations for a keeper.

But Bournemouth would have still been pushing for the goal. We couldn't keep them out at 1-1, I doubt we would have done at 1-0 either.

Muric has cost us a good number of points. Time for Walton to come in.

I mean we ere keeping them out at 1-0 until his insanity. You never quite know, but the team would have been in a better place mentally if he doesn't lose his marbles then surely?

And the Palace player told the interviewer afterwards “we know he goes down early so I looked to chip him”!!!!

Muric leads the premier league on most errors leading to a goal - 4.
He is simply not good enough.

Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps he stays on his line. Makes a save, rebound goes in. Or we clear it for a corner and they score 30 seconds later?

Muric is an easy excuse. We are conceding more and higher quality chances than we are creating in the huge majority of games. We therefore need higher quality teams to regularly be wasteful against us and we get some luck and clinical edge to our game. They don't tend to both happen in unison and therefore we will go down with or without Muric in goal.

I don't think he should be anywhere near our first team. Even if we go back down and stick with him the same old will happen in the Champ or any league he plays in. Limitations in catching, kicking, commanding the box etc. can be coached on the training ground, but can footballing IQ and brain farts be cured? Playford Road isn't Mensa neither is it the psychiatric clinic!

I don’t.

For all the good he does with claiming crosses etc. it’s moments like this which make his signing absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve never known a keeper so calamitous, he’s cost us 3 points today alone and who knows how big this defeat will be going forward.

For £8m(!!) I refuse to accept that he was the best keeper we could have signed, especially when him making mistakes is hardly a new thing.
