That the best stereotypical Gurniad opinion peace I’ve seen in ages. Will nobody think of the person who’s tragically unable to check their emails for a few hours?

Although in fairness she almost record the opening with a quick nod to the infirm. She’s certainly right about lack of preparedness on a wider level for what’s coming down the tracks. That needs money though and we are reluctant to spend on preventative measures. Personally and community resilience is a bit low compared to some other countries. We’re used to having everything done for us and the erosion over time of community bonds doesn’t help. People do tend to rally round in emergencies though.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
