Expected attendance for the cup? 21:01 - Jan 8 with 1804 viewssuffolkpoker

I’m taking my boy for the first time this season. Due to struggling to get tickets together.
It’s his first time going into the north stand (upper). I really hope it’s a big gate, what are we expecting 20k+ or 25k+?

Thanks

Happy days!! Should be in for a good atmosphere.

Why is our gane on the Sunday? Is it sky or rest days?

We would normally the train from diss but no trains.
Best place for parking?

14000 were sold before they even reached general sale so I think it should be fairly good turnout. I'll go for 22,000.

My sister is bringing my niece and nephew for first time seeing the men's team though they came to the women's team game last season. Looking forward to it! Hope you and your boy enjoy the game!

No idea unless tied to next league game which is next Thursday. I always street park off Newmarket road near the bowls club so have a 10-15 min walk. Hope you enjoy it!

It’s on Sunday because the game is being televised abroad

Currently just over 800 tickets left in the 'normal' home areas, plus block VU3 (maybe 600 tickets) have been returned by Bristol to be made available for home fans (Thursday), so theoretically there's just over 1400 unsold for home fans as of today.

Even if we sell no more home tickets, virtually no press turn up, and Bristol only bring 70% of what they've not returned, it would theoretically make for a 26-27k attendance.

Edit: Not considered the vagueries of hospitality, etc in that though. If Club / FA / etc have held back significant numbers for sponsors etc and they don't bother to turn up, could make a dent.

Be nice to give them a good hammering , and get another low league team, maybe Scunthorpe or Norwich or a similar mediocre club..

Norwich in the cup would be fun!

When was the last time we played them in a cup(not play offs)?

Long time ago I’d assume, I’d love to see Delap bullying their defence, I’d love it Norwich at fortress Portman road .. yes please !!
