Postecoglou's tirade on 'change' 14:56 - Jan 9 with 6971 views | Cafe_Newman | I think more people will agree with "Ange" than those that don't. What's the feeling here at TWTD? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cwyxyw1nrglo At the very least, I think the BBC are silly to call his comments a tirade. (apologies if I'm late to the party and this has already been discussed)

Postecoglou's tirade on 'change' on 07:59 - Jan 11 by TractorWood | Maradona's handball is brought up every tournament. As is Lampard's non goal. VAR is imo positive overall as its broadly ensures these grave miscarriages of footballing justice can't happen. However, as football is both inherently judgmental, endlessly analysed and chaotically random the smaller decisions often trigger immense debate as it is perceived to impact the broader game. The game is excessively surgical. Tbh I saw it was league cup and was immediately disinterested. [Post edited 11 Jan 8:05]

Goal line technology stays for sure. Big miscarriages of justice ie: Maradona and Henry’s handball should be caught and over ruled. All the marginal decisions on that spectrum in between need to be binned.

Postecoglou's tirade on 'change' on 15:23 - Jan 9 by Illinoisblue | If I’m reading it right, Bergvall didn’t get that second yellow because the ref played the advantage and even though the advantage came to nothing, the ref can’t then go back and book the player. That seems wrong on multiple levels. |
Yes. The logic is the booking is for “stopping a promising attack” therefore if you can play an advantage the foul hasn’t stopped a promising attack. Morsy was getting done for this all the time start of the season , but the “more experienced” prem players kick him further down the pitch (Villa springs to mind, but I might be wrong). If the foul was a reckless challenge then the yellow card can still be given.
