The Club announced an allocation of 3000 tickets had been provided, total seat-map count ran at 3003. The seat-map suggests 28 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 260 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 60 for the Ballot, 200 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating).
There were 2715 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.
1785 (66.22% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.
713 (25.78%) seats sold in the 25+ window.
217 (7.99%) seats sold in the 20+ window.
Points of note:
* 30+ remains by far the highest selling group with sales slightly ahead of the previous Liverpool sale. Growth in the 30+ sales group not quite as great as previous few fixtures.
* This fixture didn't sell-out quickly in the 20+ window, tickets were available until around 4pm. This suggests supply and demand were pretty much at parity for the 20+ window, indicating there are probably relatively few members in the 20-24 points range (likely less than 300).
* 13 previously 'unavailable' seats in Block Q2 were released for sale just (about 10mins) before the window opened for the 20+ sale, I updated the overall stats to take that into account.
* The number of tickets selling in 25+ remains pretty consistent, but there's a hint of a downward trend.
* I noticed watching a recent Liverpool match on TV that one area of seating in the away end that was unavailable for purchase during our sale, was filled with stewards (probably 30 or so), so I've changed the language around 'club allocation' to include 'or steward seating' and also changed 'retained by the club' to 'unavailable to purchase'.
* Prediction: It looks unlikely that the Crystal Palace (circa 2700 allocation) sale will make it as far as 20+ based on recent trends.

25+ the obvious tipping point now. Around 2500 tix sold in the top 2 bands accounting for the majority of away ticket sales . The 20+ band the no mans land of ticket sales with a few stragglers stuck in there picking up the scraps on day 3 sales hoping for promotion into the top tiers.
As for sub 20s they really are pressing their nose against the window looking in now. The inhabitants of each band are pretty much set for the season and anyone sub 20 is going to need to be creative to see the Town on the road [Post edited 15 Jan 17:18]
