Got me thinking about how McKenna is going to “pitch” a 3rd striker to come to us, and then how that would work with regards to possible transfer fee and length of contract.lets be honest - game time is going to be very little barring injury We will be trying to bring in a 2nd striker if Hirst gets injured, and if he stays fit, then ultimately a 3rd choice to replace AAH We aren’t going to be paying big bucks for this player IMO and personally, I don’t think we may be able to bring someone in. January is a terrible time for strikers - and to make it worse - it seems most clubs are searching for one Maybe a little known South American that no one knows about that comes in and saves the day after a injury hits (a la Adrian Paz - but who can actually score) :) Personally I think this is 1 position - we will struggle. A loan is the most likely obvs - but I’m struggling for fit players who fit the bill - and would be happy to probably warm the bench | |
