Think of it what you will.. 19:55 - Jan 19 with 4661 views | BYRNE_16 | … but shouting abuse at your fellow town fans who decide to leave early is wholly unacceptable! Grown men who should know better, acting like petulant children.

Think of it what you will.. on 21:32 - Jan 19 by radiogaga | I don’t agree with the shouting abuse etc but I also make no apology for saying it was really poor that people were leaving in their droves from the north stand when McAtee scored. People can give a valid reason to validate it, but let’s just call it for what it was, it was quitting on the team. Singing ”We support the Ipswich, if we’re down if we’re up” before doing a runner 20 minutes before full time is pretty embarrassing. [Post edited 19 Jan 21:34]

In their droves? Watch any Premier League game when the home team is 2 or 3 down after 70 minutes and it's practically empty, with West Ham and Southampton particularly guilty. The Etihad is usually sparse if Man City are 2 or 3 in the lead. 6-0 down with 20 minutes left and most of Portman Road remains where they are and what is more cheering the team on and singing. I think the fans were a credit to the club. However if fans felt that they needed to leave early due to circumstances at a match for whatever reason moved considerably from it's original kick-off time then I think that is entirely reasonable in the circumstances.

A bit disingenuous to say most grounds start to empty after 70 minutes. It’s true in one sense, but rarely do crowds empty like they did today on 60 minutes/ 70 minutes itself. I’m just finding it somewhat amusing how defensive the people who gave up on the 5th and 6th goals are being tonight, because a few people have pointed it that it was a little bit ridiculous.
