One element that gets overlooked in our successive promotions 11:42 - Jan 20 with 676 viewsCopfordBlue

is that we were a physical team, bordering on dirty when we needed to be. Tactical fouls were common and when the crowd went a bit flat a crunching tackle lifted the volume. I don’t want to be overly critical, we were well beaten by a world class team but 7 fouls and no bookings is a bit disappointing in a 6-0 home defeat. We’re at risk of going back to being the too nice, soft Ipswich that Keane highlighted many years ago.

It's hard to foul players if you can't get near them.
