I'd be curious to know why it took so long for him to play this season. Looks mostly likely that McKenna just didn't rate him, what with Phil's revelation and murmurings at the time.
He's one of the best we have at wriggling out of tight spaces and sparking unlikely attacks, as are his passing and shooting right up there. What he lacks in strength and pace, surely he makes up for in other areas where we aren't blessed across the forward line? |  | | |

Broadhead, Szmodics, Burns, Chaplin, Clarke and Hirst gives us many options from the bench. I wouldn't be letting any of them leave yet. Al-Hamadi, Luongo and H.Clarke maybe need to move on now, but the rest of the squad is looking pretty strong now. |
If Jack Clarke had been with us since div 2 everyone would be saying we shouldn't be sentimental and that he isn't cutting it.
From an objective point of view I feel some of the contributions of players from div 1 days have been under valued. |  | | |
