In the cup I believe….Liverppol had virtually whole of the North stand if that’s the game I’m thinking of.
My first ever "train game" so to speak... only 13 at the time... catching the return journey to Diss the station was obviously swarmed with reds but I remember a rumour starting that there'd been some sort of controversial issue and they'd been given a replay and of course they were all cock a hoop.... obviously with no Internet or way of communication this young fella was heartbroken till we got picked up at Diss with the news of course "fake"!

Yes, I was waiting for a train back to Chelmsford & there was a huge crowd outside Ipswich station. Suddenly there was a lot of cheering from some Liverpool fans, including a couple of lads from my school. One of them gleefully informed me that Town's goal had been "cancelled" & there was going to be a replay. I was fairly sceptical & still wonder how that ridiculous rumour started.

I was standing with my dad in the west stand against the wall about the 6 yd line roughly when Mills poked in the winner. TWTD they really were also aged 13 at the time.
