I thought it was deliberate to just sit in front of them and ket them make mistakes... there were very few high press moments and certainly not the concerted high press we have used in the past but when we did steal the ball we always looked more likely to score. Once we had the 2nd we began to exert more pressure pressing and Nunez introduction suddenly reduced the number of times possession was lost as i dont think he gave it away once? Once their spirit was broken the gulf in quality shone through |

I know theyll pair it with black shorts but i think it would look really cool with matching blue shorts & socks with black trim features |

I think Phil Parkes was also considered above Coops at the time and even he only got 1 England cap. |

I am fully behind both KM and MA but in truth i really heard nothing new or anything i didnt expect to hear. KM in particular has a wonderful of appearing to tell you loads in deep meaningful answer but in truth repeats the same stuff in clever twist giving away very little and that is exactly how it should be.. Dont forget... We follow The Town, Up and Down! |

So as there are 14 rounds including the Final meaning i suppose the greatest number of * you could aggregate is 14, but (realistically!) over the whole game of Wembley is 13 achievable assuming an extra Preliminary round team made it to the 3rd round to be beaten by the eventual winner.... might be interesting to keep an aggregate of total *s to see who accumulates the most.Mines easy, just got the one win so far lol PS I'm not volunteering, just an idea for people who like doing that stuff |

But it could bring a little subjectivity to these objective decisions.... ref makes a decision, player thinks it wrong and asks for check, ref can then prove his case or accept that appealant has a case and change his decision. Only real drawback is players and coaching staff would have to be a lot more grown up and disciplined about the whole system which i doubt they could! |

Ive said it since the start...if we MUST have VAR then make it a tool for the ref in the middle.... Let him make the on field subjective decisions alone and give teams limited appeals.... then let him judge his own decision on the screen. This maintains the concept of refs decision being final. NB... he will still sometimes get it wrong |
