Trusting the system does have its benefits and worked for us over the long haul but where i agree with you is ... defending a corner midway through 7 minutes of injury time snd we haul everyone back to defend it..... I feel in that situation we should at least give them the problem of what to do with 2 or 3 stretched out on the half way line. |

Still like Woolfie in the team...him standing on the ball is part of the drawing on the opposition and then breaking the lines... however for me the biggest difference is the Burgess quick and accurate distribution to the advanced Davis who is currently blocked by Philogene... Greaves is quite simply less positive in pinging that ball forward and its going to be tricky to remedy. |

Why have football clubs continued with turnstile type entry...surely nowadays the tap in tap out type units on train and underground systems would get people in much faster? |

Poor old Jack Taylor struggles with that passing out from the GK simple because of his body shape, Morsy had a low centre of gravity and a decetive drop of either shoulder so he could either pass or pivot turn and deal with unexpected bobbles of the ball. Tayls height just makes all that so much more difficult and miss touches often lead to loss of possession in dangerous areas.... its not his fault, he needs to be facing the opposition goal further up the pitch to be effective. Personally I think we are going to have to adapt the way we play because this team doesnt have quite the tools of the previous " band of brothers ". |
