Away supporters at Anfield … on 17:56 - Jan 26 with 411 views | DJR | Like at Arsenal, I thought the acoustics were not great, and meant it was not clear what other parts of our section were singing. Nevertheless, I think our away support has been excellent this season, and was pretty good yesterday in the circumstances. And what matters is not how we in the away section perceive it, but rather what people in other sections of the ground, or on telly, think because that is the real test. [Post edited 26 Jan 17:57]

Away supporters at Anfield … on 22:59 - Jan 26 with 261 views | tractorshark | I thought the support was excellent yesterday. The section around me and my son kept going all game and the second half the fans were unified and excellent. As others have said, the acoustics perhaps didn’t help and maybe some of the chants got a little fractured but most Liverpool comments I’ve seen were full of praise for our supporters. As for You’ll Never Walk Alone, I’m not sure about people joining in with the singing but if people wanted to film it, I don’t have any issue with that. It’s an iconic anthem in an iconic stadium and it’s part of English football culture. Nothing wrong with that, especially when you consider how plastic the Prem has become. | | | |
