I'll caveat that I can't remember if their player ended up going off or not.
Are there any rules that stipulate that, when a team kick the ball out for their own player to get non head injury treatment, the ball *must* be given back to them from the restart?
I get that it's not the spirit of the game, but I felt that we should have pushed the position there, rather than throwing it back to Ramsdale. |  |

In which case I'll agree with you. At the time it felt very time-wastey and, had that been the case, I'd have fully expected the lads to play on from the throw. | |
