I can’t dwell on this current league predicament. I know there is more blood letting to come over the days and weeks but FA Cup, it’s a chance to start something. Start the same 11 from yesterday, if that’s the best team they need to go and solve some problems amongst themselves on the pitch, I’m sure that’s not how it will be but that’s my thinking. They’ve got a week knowing they are the starters and will be the starters for the next league game. Keep or lose the shirt from now, unless not able to start. |  |

I agree we should play our strongest possible team, but we do need to balance minutes in the squad to keep players match fit.
Godfrey, Johnson, Woolfy, Burgess, Townsend, Phillips, Taylor, Luongo, Clarke and Hirst all need game time, so it is a balancing act. | | | |
