The way Norwich are now getting results they could easily pass us at the end of the season. Unthinkable but certainly a possibility.

It's the nature of the Championship. You can lose over a third of your games and still be in touching distance of the play-offs. They rarely look like dropping points at home and there's enough very mediocre to poor teams to go on runs which catapult you up the table.

They lost two in a row recently, to Leeds and Sheff U, and that hasn't hurt them one jot because teams like WBA and Boro lack consistency.

I think in terms of bitter rivals, West Brom and Wolves kept passing each other on the way up/down in the 2000s.
