Delap £40-65 mil (depending on the clause)

I've just been reading in the athletic that supposedly the release clause for delap is 40M.
"It can be revealed City inserted a £40million buyback clause in the deal taking Delap to Portman Road for a potential £20m last summer, so that could be a factor, or a gauge of fee, in the anticipated pursuit of his signature."

Posted my below predictions on a similar thread:
McKenna will go. We’ll replace him with a similar style appointment (Rohl or Anthony Barry, I’d be going all out for Barry if we could prise him away from the England set up)
We’ll lose Delap and Hutchinson who will follow McKenna to Spurs. We’ll also lose Davis who’ll go to a lower prem club (Fulham or similar). Some other fringe players will go and we’ll strengthen in these areas.
Our starting 11 will be:
Palmer
Clarke - O’Shea (C) - Greaves - New
New - New
Philogene - Szmodics - Clarke
Hirst / New
We’ll have option for the bench of Walton, Wolf, Townsend, Morsy, Humphries, Broadhead, Ogbene, Burns later in the season, Chaplin
