Men Who Made The Town

One of the best books written on the statistical history of ITFC.
I know the Supporters Club produced annual supplements to the book in 1987 and 1988 but were there any more in subsequent years?
Any info appreciated.

I believe that there may well have been three “yearbooks” subsequent to the excellent TMWMTT; such a shame that they didn’t continue after that.

I've seen Supplement 1 (1987) and 2 (1988) but never seen a third. I've keep my eye out.

I’ve got the original book and the two supplements but I don’t think any more were done, otherwise I’d have bought them.
The most readable book on ITFCs origins was done in 1973 by Ken Rice and is called ‘Ipswich an Illustrated History’.

It’s beautifully written and in some ways more informative than the much more comprehensive, must have MWMTT
