This is my go to ITFC podcast, and has been for years, through the bad times and the good.
I was listening to the Spurs podcast (EP902), and Rich and Seb mentioned that the 900th episode was a Special Edition that was only released to the Telegram members.
I could be wrong, but I'm sure Ben says listeners will never have to pay for Blue Monday pods.
Rich did mention that it may be released to non Telegram members at some point. Hopefully thats the case.
I understand the need to monetise, but the non Telegram members do bring a critical mass that helps attract sponsors etc. Some non Telegram members will have donated via Super Chat.
Its a great pod, but I've no interest in joining a Telegram group to access content. |  |

They've made 902 episodes of exceptional quality for free and you're bemoaning that they've put one behind a (very small) paywall? And I think Ben's caveat is around the scheduled pods - this is clearly a special, and sits outside of that. It's not a public service, they can do as they wish. If they put everything behind a paywall I'd be disappointed but I wouldn't begrudge them. |  | | |

I never suggested it was a public service, but Ben does make that uncaveated guarantee.
Like I say, I've no interest in joining Telegram, I'd rather have the option to pay a one off fee.
Hopefully it will be released on the pod, and the Telgram group will have had a preview rather than an exclusive. That's the way a lot of commercial podcasts work. | |

Great to hear you're so keen to hear/watch episode 900. Not to split hairs, but you don't need to pay to gain access to Telegram as there's a two week free trial. If you were super keen you could sign up, get it for free, disappear and cancel without us ever knowing!  I get that you're making a different point though.
As per the update on Prematch Show last night, we will be sharing episode 900 at some point; probably in the coming week or so (three game week coming up etc.). We did want to acknowledge our loyal messaging community though, which not only has added such a great dimension to the channel in recent years but are supporting us through their subscription.
We do appreciate that not everyone who subscribes to BM wants to be on there though, so this is only a temporary situation. As Ben stated, we would never put our usual weekly run of shows behind a paywall. Hopefully you can give us a break this once over a bit of non-ITFC related content.
