No somebody went to Agadir they said won't go back. |
Some people don't like Morocco & it is claimed to have a poor record for repeat tourism i.e. many try it once because it's cheap but they don't return. I went to Agadir for a fortnight in January 1987 when I desperately needed a break & had lovely weather & the beach was fantastic. I don't have anything against Morocco but I haven't been back. |  |

Went to Agadir at the start of a walking trip years ago. Grown as a resort quite a but since I believe and my parents went there a few years back It's ok, nothing inspiring except the old Kasbah on the hill as everything else was destroyed by an earthquake in the 60s.
Perfectly fine place for a holiday though, but probably too far from Marrakech for a day trip if you wanted to do that so probably just the town.
(The really nice resort is Essouaira but a bit harder to get to and more expensive). |  |

This sort of incident can happen anywhere, although the perceived risk might be marginally higher in a Muslim country, especially where tourists have been deliberately targeted. | |
