Blue Action - Move? 16:18 - Mar 19 with 1280 views | SaffronWaldenBlues | I am sure the club would never do this, but with another reconfiguring next season due to the away numbers dropping, would it be better to move Blue Action further along next to the away supporters? I suppose the club may be nervous putting Blue Action next to the away supporters but generally speaking, they are well-behaved and good-spirited and there shouldn't be any trouble. Maybe I am a bit selfish in wanting this, as since promotion I now have the away fans at my back where I sit, and I am fed up with hearing "football in a library" and how quiet we are from opposition fans, purely because the noise from the lower north and Blue Action doesn't travel well. It might help the perception to have Blue Action seated closer to the away fans to help generate a bit of noise.

Blue Action - Move? on 16:22 - Mar 19 with 1238 views | Reuser_is_God | 40 Blue Action vs 2000 away fans? We’d be completely drowned out. Plus we are more interested in supporting the team rather then getting involved in tit for tat football in a library nonsense you don’t like. I don’t think moving next to the away fans would be a good move.

Blue Action - Move? on 16:43 - Mar 19 with 1144 views | Zx1988 | I don't think that there'll be any reconfiguration, per se. The Bournemouth and Bristol Rovers matches showed that the current segregation is somewhat modular, and can be adapted to work with smaller away followings, so I would imagine that all that will happen is that the segregation will be permanently set at the 2,000 point. I would be surprised if the freed-up seats become anything other than match-to-match tickets, given the headache that would be caused if we went straight back up and ST-holders needed to be moved again.

Blue Action - Move? on 22:13 - Mar 19 with 762 views | Slambo | It's funny, it used to really annoy me - even pre BA - that the club would never countenance putting the most vociferous Town fans next to the away fans. But now, I can't think of anything worse! As Reuser said above, you can just concentrate on supporting the team. If the away fans were right next to us half the block would be too busy trying to rile them. Would be a complete mess... As for all the 'football in a library' nonsense, jeez, it's become such a tired old cliche, along with 'your support is f**king sh*t' and '_____ is a sh*thole, I wanna go home'. Something some desperate, unimaginative fan starts up just to sing something, anything. The away fans can barely hear us, we can barely hear them, is what it is. In Germany the away fans are always put at the polar opposite end from the home ultras and doesn't stop any of them having a good time...
