Apologies if this was done on here before, but I've just read that Chelsea basically sold their Women's team to themselves for approx £200m.

Just before announcing a pre-tax "profit" of £128m on Monday.

What is the point of the Premier League when this blatant cheating goes on, almost to the degree where the "big clubs" are virtually taking the preverbal Pi5s. This is the same Chelsea that sold the a hotel to themselves to avoid sanctions.

Whilst we all get the lure of the Premier League, surely its time for the big six to sod off to their Super League and leave the rest of us to play football.

How do they justify £200m?

Do the women's team have their own training ground and stadium?

Their players aren't worth much in terms of transfer values.

I assume they run at a loss?

It's just a finger in the air valuation based on 'potential'

Apparently a USA women's team was used as a benchmark.

So, yeah it's probably completely fabricated
