An ideal time to cancel Sky TV 08:05 - Apr 6 with 1005 viewsMark

The Premier League title race and relegation battles are over already, with 11/12 point gaps in early April.

Ipswich only have one more game confirmed for Sky, which is home to Arsenal at Portman Road.

VAR is taking away the joy of the moment when goals are scored.

Advertising is intrusive, such as pitch-side betting ads.

Teams often do not wear their proper colours when they could, to try to sell more away shirts.

I cancelled Sky and look forward to spending the money on something more enjoyable.

I've done exactly the same. Mine is switched off on Tuesday and I don't think I'll miss it.

Sky want everyone off Sky Q and using their streaming service instead, so aren't interested in offering anything worthwhile to existing customers.

I might get a NowTV sports pass at some point, but won't think about that until next season. £85-a-month saved.

Signed up for NowTV for the first time this season last week just to watch the Championship run-in and hopefully catch a couple of League Two games.

Look out for Now TV's promotions just before the start of the season. I paid £15pm last season and £20pm this season + £2 for HD boost.

So often Championship matches are more enjoyable than Premier League ones.

Leeds are falling apart again.

Norwich are 8 points behind the play-offs, with Sunderland and Burnley to play this week.

Silly question but when you come off Sky Q do you still keep the box to get the basic channels? Or will I need to get Freeview thing?

I am finding same thing re them not being helpful. Rang them and have been with them for years and they didn't give a toss. Didn't offer anything decent off at all. It was all 'i can save you 3 pounds'.

Really feeling like had enough.

You have to send the box back, but obviously the dish and leads remain.

If you want the ability to record programmes etc. rather than watch through Freeview or Freeview Play, you can buy a Freesat box using your existing dish and leads.
