In similar news, my daughter arranged for an 90 year old patient who had been admitted to hospital and was struggling, to go to a Port Vale game, she had been a life long supporter and still regularly went to games. The outreach team took her one Saturday and it sparked a good recovery and was soon discharged. Never underestimate the power of football at every level.
